ביום חמישי האחרון חגגנו בכפר את הסיגד בהובלת שכבת נצח.
התחלנו בפעילות לקראת הסיגד שהעבירו חניכי השכבה לקבוצות נעלה וט', ובפעילויות שהכינו המדריכים.
ביום הסיגד עצמו אמרנו וידוי בתפילת שחרית, על מנת לציין את הצום, הוידוי והכפרה שמאפיינים את חלקו הראשון של הסיגד.
במהלך אחת ההפסקות התקיימה בביה"ס הפסקה פעילה ברוח החג עם משחקים מאתיופיה, מוזיקה וסיפורים.
בצהריים, לאחר רגע של חשש עם מטר גשמים, התחלנו את התהלוכה, מחצר בית הספר לגודג'ו, יחד עם בנות מכינת ימין אורד וכשלושים בוגרים!
בגודג'ו ברכו את המשתתפים בטקס בשלל שפות הכפר: עברית, אמהרית, פורטוגזית, רוסית, אנגלית – ואפילו מסלית – השפה המדוברת בחבל דרפור שבסודן.
חניכי נצח הסבירו את המשמעות של החג, סיפרו את סיפור העליות מאתיופיה והזכירו את מי שלא הגיע עד לישראל. לאחר "אל מלא רחמים" סיפר הרב שגאו על המסע לאתיופיה, ממנו חזר יום קודם, יחד עם אנשי צוות נוספים מהכפר.
משם המשיכה התהלוכה לבית הכנסת בשירה וריקודים, לצלילי טרומבה שבני פישר ,מנהל הכפר, הביא מאתיופיה. בבית הכנסת, שקושט על ידי החניכות מקבוצת צרפת ומנעל"ה, התפללנו מנחה וערבית ואת תפילות הסיגד, ושמענו שיחה של בני.
ארוחת הערב החגיגית כללה את האינג'רה והווט שהכינו חניכי נצח מבעוד מועד.
לאחר ארוחת הערב החגיגית, הלכנו לאולם לצפות בהצגה,  ההצגה סיפרה על שני נערים, שאינם מכירים ולא מרגישים שייכות למורשתם. יושבי מסעדה אליה הגיעו מספרים להם על אבא מהרי, על השרים היהודים שהגיעו לאתיופיה עם מנליק, על תרבות הריקוד והמזון האתיופי – ועל משמעות שמותיהם האמהריים.
